Robin's Realm

A Call

The phone has been

a bone of contention

even way back then

It stuck to me like glue

me always wanting

to be there for whoever

wanted to get through

I learned the hard way

to turn it off

in the special times

After  all it was not

sex in a phone booth

I wanted at all!

Oh how bad tonight

I sit here and wish

that phone would ring

A call from him

to hear his voice

for a long week

it has been

I cannot pick up the phone  and call myself

I do not know for sure

does he want me at all?

or is it time and space?

Keep busy I tell myself

And let all those thoughts go

You yourself have wrote

Have faith

Take one day at at time

But all I want is a call

The ringing is not going to happen-

He is a stubborn man

For that you have learned

Let it go-

Let him look and see

Can you be the one

Who can make him totally happy?
